First of all, I would like to express great praise and appreciation for the organization and implementation of the DriveIn. I like to come here! Of course, again in non-Corona times. We have already tried a lot from the DriveIn menu and were / are always very satisfied. Very good quality and an always friendly team! Thanks to the Mühlen team. Stay healthy!!!

Picked up three servings of turkey to go and ate it at home. Ordering by phone was easy, picking up was easy and the food was delicious. Thank you, the nice team, Ms. and Mr. Balensiefen.

You want to support the local gastronomy in the difficult times. It is advertised with Saturday and Sunday 1 pm-5pm, if the weather cooperates. 5.12. 6 degrees and pure sunshine and who is closed ??? Just mega annoying. An extra hike planned and then ...

The food was very tasty. I think the drive in is a good idea. You definitely have to support it. We'd be happy to pick something up again. Stay healthy and get through the crazy times well.

Have used Bali's mills “DriveIn” for the second time today. XXL chop with savoy cabbage and fried potatoes and a turkey steak Provencal, baked with goat cheese on spinach. What can we say, it was divine. The food was super packaged and still hot on the plate despite the ten kilometers way home. We will definitely repeat that and can recommend it without hesitation. Update 11/21/20: We did it again, Cordon Bleu and Schnitzel Adscheid from Bali's "Mühlen Drive In". The meat is well fried and deliciously juicy, the fried potatoes are still crispy even on the way home. Simply perfect, it only tastes better when consumed directly in the mill itself. We can hardly wait for this nice pair of operators to be able to entertain guests in their own rooms again. As long as we will be happy to use the “Mühlen Drive In”, so much initiative simply has to be rewarded.

Today we made a detour to Blankenberg with our dog, because we were sitting outside it was good and served quickly to become, top food hygiene regulations were meticulously adhered to. We'd love to come back!

Nice service, incredibly cute building. The food was good but didn't blow us away.

Two stars for the ambience and the friendly service, who unfortunately didn't ask how we liked it. Unfortunately I can only give one star for the food. Schnitzel with chanterelles and fried potatoes for 20 euros, I expect freshness and taste. Finished fried potatoes from the bulk pack, convenience sauce (same sauce for chanterelles as well as for "champion cream") with 7 chanterelles and even the schnitzel were frozen goods. That is not possible at the price! We won't be eating here anymore

Unfortunately, the food was almost cold when it came to the table, as only tables outside were offered. Would have been better one would have known this beforehand ... Quality no longer as it used to be, a shame ...

Really nice steaks in a biergarten setting, just down from Burg Blankenberg. We were there with our dog so we stayed outside.

Beautiful, romantic, small, rustic feel-good restaurant. Because of the beautiful weather, we sat outside by a stream and we were served a really delicious meal with fresh ingredients by the new owner. The service was very attentive but not intrusive. Our dog was also immediately offered water: -) ..... a successful evening and we come surely again.

Great experience. The service is extremely friendly and fast, the food fresh and obviously home-made. Definitely worth an hour drive.

As an Asian I can safely say that the old waiter is racist! You couldn't sit down there, even though the tables were empty. And was asked "what are you doing here" ?? Yes, something German to eat instead of rice, you village man !!

We were there for dinner tonight. And I'm really happy. I am not from the area and am currently visiting my family here. When asked where you could eat well, "from Bali and Tanja" came straight out of the gun. And I really can only recommend that. Super nice ambience right on the stream. Staff super friendly and courteous. Food was really delicious and a good portion. We all had the leftovers packed at home. Lunch for tomorrow is guaranteed;) At the end of the day we sat outside and chatted with the owners. You definitely felt welcome. Tip: I can only recommend the mill spirit as a small nightcap afterwards! Top, top, top !! We will definitely be back.

A pity This location is beautifully situated and we stopped there after a 4-hour hike. The staff was very friendly. Since we only wanted to eat a little something, we ordered the goulash soup. What came was a tiny bit, which we also told the waitress. Shortly afterwards came a little lookup. Unfortunately, the price / performance ratio does not fit with this dish.

Hello dear mill team. We wanted to enjoy the first rays of sunshine yesterday and were our guests. Respect how you mastered the situation. Especially against the tense, current background of the world theme and the unexpected crowds of guests inside and outside. Almost no waiting, nice dealings with us and other guests. We felt comfortable and look forward to further visits to your beautiful mill.

Great atmosphere, very nice and pleasant service. Food was delicious with fresh ingredients. Highly recommended!

Great place

Great location and delicious beer but unfortunately about 1 1/2 hour wait for the food at not full occupation and then also food where the mushrooms come from the can and sour taste and the feta cheese is just cold on the Schnitzel. Price / performance unfortunately not Ok. A pity, we will not come back ...

Food was good, but we waited for our drinks for ages. One waitress not polite and another one very nice. Very nice atmosphere. All in all ok, but not cheap.

A very authentic cuisine. Lovely selection for the German pallette. The meats were standard, but the sauces were delightful. Great company and service.
